Colorado Early Colleges Colorado Springs Benefits from Teacher Program

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – August 26, 2021: Colorado Early Colleges Colorado Springs Benefits from Teacher Program

Lauren D Collier of real estate firm Live Dream Colorado operates the Colorado Springs Teacher Program to support the important work of teachers in Colorado Springs. When any teacher at any school in Colorado Springs chooses to work with Live Dream Colorado to buy or sell a home, the social impact real estate company donates $250 to the teacher’s school.

Recently, Kimberly Musselman, an administrator at Colorado Early Colleges Colorado Springs 6-12, and her husband Randall Musselman sold a house with Live Dream Colorado, putting the Teacher Program to work. After an unprecedented year of new terrain in education throughout the pandemic, teachers and school staff have been challenged like never before. So Mrs. Musselman requested the funds to be allocated toward much-needed teacher and staff appreciation. On August 24, 2021, Collier delivered the check in the amount of $250 from Live Dream Colorado in the names of Kimberly and Randall Musselman to Jennifer Daugherty, Head of School at Colorado Early Colleges Colorado Springs 6-12.

Colorado Early Colleges is a network of tuition-free public charter schools that strives to remove barriers in delivering the highest levels of academic success possible to students and their families. As an early college high school, CECCS’s academic program is designed to allow students who complete the curriculum to earn an associate degree, 60+ college credit hours, and/or industry certifications at no cost to families. CECCS students earn a combination of high school and college credits as they pursue a high school diploma and an Associate degree or higher.

Teachers of all grade levels and subjects are welcome to participate in raising funds for their school, and all schools in Colorado Springs are eligible to participate in the Colorado Springs Teacher Program.
