A Colorado town is for sale! Listed by Telluride Real Estate Corp, the town of Colona, located midway between Montrose, Colorado, and Ridgeway, Colorado, is available for purchase. It was such a fascinating listing in such a beautiful part of the state that I had to go visit it for myself.

There is a coffee shop and a restaurant/bar, rental homes, residential lots, a large parcel of land, the historic post office, and the stock yards outdoor pavilion. Just imagine what this may one day become!

If you’re familiar with this area, you know that the Ouray Hot Springs and many other hot springs are nearby – a great tourist destination. Skiing, golf, and concerts are an hour away in Telluride, and the historic Million Dollar highway is in this area of the state too. Whoever becomes the new owner of the town of Colona, Colorado, has some big shoes to fill to help this little town live up to big expectations.
