The number of listings increased last month slightly, while the number of sales decreased slightly. While the summer was a strong seller’s market in many price ranges in Colorado Springs, we’re experiencing a slight slowdown in sales at the moment.

This is good news for buyers, who may be able to snag a slightly better deal than over the summer. But will this trend continue?

Causes include recent political uncertainty and a small rise in interest rates. Interest rates remain at remarkably low levels historically speaking. Buyers should get moving and take advantage of this opportunity before mortgage interest rates continue increasing! They are still great! Sellers should hang in there – the market is still as healthy as we’ve seen in in many, many years!
