Thomas MacLaren School And Spark Online Academy Are The Latest Beneficiaries Of Colorado Springs Teacher Program

Thomas MacLaren School and Spark Online Academy are the latest beneficiaries of Colorado Springs Teacher Program

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – DECEMBER 19, 2022:  Two Teachers’ Schools Benefit From The Colorado Springs Teacher Program.

We entrust our kids to excellent teachers and education professionals like Rebecca and Konrad Schlarbaum. To take teach them, motivate them, and make sure they finish the school year with more skills and knowledge than they began!

That is why Lauren D Collier of real estate firm Live Dream Colorado started the Colorado Springs Teacher Program. When any teacher at any school in Colorado Springs chooses to work with Live Dream Colorado to buy or sell a home, the community-minded REALTORS® donate $250 to the teacher’s school.

The Schlarbaums recently worked with Live Dream Colorado in selling and purchasing homes this year, putting the Teacher Program to work. On December 1, 2022, Lauren Collier and Jay Collier delivered a check in the amount of $250 to the Thomas McLaren School, in the presence of Joy Oram, Director of Community Engagement, earmarked for campus sustainability programs on behalf of the Schlarbaums. On December 6, 2022, Collier and Collier delivered a check in the amount of $250 to Spark Academy Visual Arts in the presence of Principal Julie Johnson, who said “These funds will be used to provide art supplies, including paints, high-quality brushes, and clay, for our in-person learning events and art experiences in our community.”

This was just a small way they give back and simply say Thank You to all of the teachers who do so much for all of our kids and communities.

Teachers of all grade levels and subjects are welcome to participate in raising funds for their school, and all schools in Colorado Springs are eligible to participate in the Colorado Springs Teacher Program.
