COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – May 3, 2018: Live Dream Colorado donates a portion of their annual proceeds to Trails and Open Space Coalition to Help Protect Natural Outdoor Places in Colorado Springs.
Live Dream Colorado, a local real estate firm, recently donated $1,794.69 to Trails and Open Space Coalition (TOSC). As a member of international nonprofit organization 1% for the Planet, Live Dream Colorado pledges to donate 1% of annual income to support the environment. Trails and Open Space Coalition, represented by Executive Director Susan Davies and Outreach Director Eileen Healy, accepted the donation on May third. The funds support continued progress on and advocacy for developing the Ring the Peak Trail. Other recent donor-supported accomplishments of TOSC have been the new Bike Master Plan passed by the City with the support of Bike Colorado Springs, as well as TOSC’s advocacy for parks and trails development in the new Banning Lewis Ranch Annexation and development. TOSC works to preserve open space and parks, and to create a network of trails, bikeways, and greenways for the Pikes Peak Region. The work of TOSC helps make and keep Colorado Springs a beautiful, unique, and desirable city of choice for employers and for people of all ages.
